Kee Performance Vindicators is a set of songs dealing with emotionally charged administrative minutiae. First performed live in the office cum book store of contemporary art magazine Art Guide, as an opening act for Jon Campbell Band, it explores themes endemic to non-profit incorporations in the arts.
Kee Performance Vindicators is an outcome of Ramírez book in progress Majority Report. The premise of this performance is that an arts administrator procastinated so much, that they turned their humming into songs. As music sheets, Kee Performance Vindicators offers melodies and lyrics administrators in the non-profit sector can procastinate to.
Majority Report is a failed 'handbook' for contemporary art in an age of total bureaucracy. It follows the breakdown of an arts administrator as they pursue an arts practice in an environment of rules, paperwork and credentials. Set in México and Australia, it explores what happens when professional and clandestine forces collapse.
